Trusted Supplier Program

We are looking to partner with a diverse range of suppliers that embrace our core values, that are serious about business and that offer consistent quality products and services at reasonable prices. If you are interested in doing business with Intertel, particularly as a supplier of products or services, then this page should be your starting point.

Where to Start?

First, learn about our business – we want to learn about yours. Take a look at our website to see what it is that we do. Our Expectations of You

Being a supplier of goods or services makes you a part of the Intertel supply-chain, and therefore a part of our extended family. We cannot do business with suppliers who do not act with integrity, who do not love what they do, who do not believe in their products, who are not qualified, properly accredited or authorized to conduct such business, or who do not share similar values to ourselves. This is the cost of doing business with us.

Gifts, Entertainment and Hospitality

Intertel employees are expected to maintain the highest standard of integrity in all business relationships, to reject and report any business practice which might reasonably be deemed improper and to maintain professional relationships with all suppliers. We demand the same standards from our suppliers and their employees.

To this end, is imperative that no Intertel employee may accept or receive any gift, entertainment, hospitality or other gratuity including donations from any supplier that:

  1. is offered or made in exchange for a contract, a permit or any other specific benefit,
  2. is offered to obtain an improper advantage in the conduct of business,
  3. is in breach of local or international bribery laws,
  4. would, if it became public, adversely affect our reputation,
  5. may create a sense of obligation,
  6. may influence, or be perceived to influence, business judgement,
  7. may create, or appear to create, a conflict of interest,
  8. is obtained through solicitation (i.e. employees requesting favours or gifts from suppliers or potential suppliers).

It is not our intention to detract from the desirability of fostering good relations with business partners and other stakeholders through legitimate, occasional social interactions and genuine gestures of kindness or appreciation. Below are a number of scenarios where it may be permissible or unacceptable to give or receive gifts, entertainment or hospitality.
