This page isn’t about the Intertel team, its about what qualities are needed to succeed as a part of our team. If you want to know what it takes to join, how to apply, what jobs are available, what to expect from us and what we expect from you, then read on.
Do you have what it takes?
Intertel’s mission requires a wide range of skills, knowledge and experience. That diversity extends to all aspects of who we are and what we do. It gives us multiple perspectives, ignites creativity and fuels innovation. It makes us an incredibly capable workforce that is able to adapt quickly, think on its feet, solve problems and remain focused. Despite our different upbringings, we all share qualities that make us such a successful team. These qualities are our non-negotiables. Without them, employment at Intertel is impossible. We call them the Ecliptics.
Working at Intertel
Intertel offers unique opportunities for talented people to develop their technical skills and expand their expert knowledge. We provide a collaborative and supportive working environment that encourages free thinking, open discussion and personal growth. We promote a culture of continual learning. Team members are constantly challenged to think, to learn, to adapt, and to contribute to a wide variety of activities across an impressive range of technical, analytical and operational disciplines. We seek to build character and confidence by cultivating each person’s talents and allowing them to challenge themselves and reach their potential.
We’re not going to sugar-coat it. Our selection process is rigorous and very demanding. Candidates will be required to attend at least two in-person interviews, will need to consent to a background investigation, polygraph test, drug test and may be required to undergo competency, proficiency and other testing – depending on the position being filled. Employment decisions are based on an assessment of your skills, knowledge, character, professional attributes and organizational suitability. Candidates applying for internships and part-time employment will be subjected to the same selection process as full-time employees.
